As a pioneering refugee-led CBO, GAID empowers youth through the youth and works in collaboration with like-minded supporters who share our vision. Our staff comprises of men and women from Kakuma Refugee Camp, and Kenyan national who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of the vulnerable and marginalized communities of Kakuma. Despite our diverse backgrounds and cultural differences, we place a strong emphasis on cohesion and teamwork, with a shared eagerness to learn from each other. This approach
has been critical to our success in positively changing lives and communities in the region.
