The Generation Aid Internship Program is a community-led initiative designed to equip young people with practical skills, real-world experience, and opportunities to contribute to meaningful social impact. As a refugee-led organization, we prioritize local leadership and ensure that all internship opportunities directly benefit the communities we serve. Our program brings together local and international participants in a model built on equity and learning, while training and empowering the next generation of advocates and changemakers. For international interns, the program also offers valuable field exposure through direct engagement with community-led initiatives in Kakuma.
Interns will work directly under a mentor, receiving guidance and support while contributing to real projects, developing practical and advocacy skills, and gaining hands-on experience in community-led initiatives.
